Cooper had a momentous occasion today - wearing shoes for the first time. He didn't even seem to mind them much. Then Mom, Dad and grandpa went to Gary's house to watch the Indy 500 on the big screen - but it had a rain delay so naps were had. The party had all of the Chicago-area Lester family in attendance - with a few new attendees. Those who showed up are: Grandma Hollingsworth, Dan, Andy, Quinn, Cinda, Henri, Cooper, Marilyn, Glenn, Sue, Shayna, Wendy, Eric, Marlo, Celeste, Connor, Gary, Shelly, Adam, Mark, Jeff, Patti, Kara, Kristen, Laurie and Phil. As usual, there were a couple games of whiffle ball - the Over 25 ("the old guys") vs. the Under 25 ("the whippersnappers") - with only a couple of rain delays.
