Today is Cooper's FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!
He started the day with a very nutritious powdered doughnut, before any guests arrived.
After a nice nap, he had another breakfast (party food was Aunt Diana's traditional Christmas Breakfast) and enjoyed playing on the floor with all of the other little kids (and Uncle Andy). He was very lucky to spend his first birthday with aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, neighbors and a Grandma as well as TWO Great-Grandmas!
Cousin Marlo held Cooper for the candle-blowing out (although the photos below you can't see the cake, or the candles, for that matter) - although he had zero interest in either the cake or the candles. That is - until he got some cake at his high chair. Aunt Shelly made sure that the piece Cooper received had PLENTY of bright blue frosting - and Cooper knew what to do with it!
Cooper also met another Cooper - family friend Craig - for the first time.
Thanks to everyone for giving Cooper such a wonderful first birthday.
